Open Book Press is dedicated to bringing the best new books and publications at the best possible combination of price and quality. Although we currently focused on submissions from established professionals, we will also review submissions from new authors and, if we see potential, help them break into the publishing industry. That's where our slogan "Making the World Safe for New Ideas!" comes from. We have a commitment to bringing our readers a solid, quality line of fiction, non-fiction, children's books, graphic novels, and much more.
We feel we are one of the truly innovative new North American publishing houses. Launching in Fall 2004 our team has well over a decade of combined experience in publishing and entertainment. In 2005 we broke new ground and made a name for ourselves in the publishing industry with our hardcover fiction novels and graphic novels. In 2006 we are creating an entirely new upheaval in the comic book industry by presenting the public with a graphic novel inspired format to our successful line of SMASH! Comics, made with top quality materials and at a competitive price. Our line of Children's books is also set to make waves in 2006.
