Once upon a time self-publishing was synonymous with vanity-press. That is
no longer the case. Advances in technology and opportunities
provided by a widening array of distribution possibilities (via
internet) have made self-publishing a potentially wise move. Having a
publisher has definite advantages--along with less-than-perfect
