Many purist Fritz Lang buffs didn't appreciate Giorgio Moroder's soundtrack on Metropolis, but I, having seen it some fifty times or more at cons and while visting my agent Forry Ackerman's Ackermansion, really did appreciate it. Lang was a visualist. He saw rather than heard his visions into existence. I do believe that he would have liked the result had he lived to see and hear it.
