At first blush one might think that stage/set, make-up, costuming, and special fx personnel should be a sub-category of Movie People. We have given these folks a separate category in recognition that their talents are being used in many other places than just on the movie set. Your average sci fi con has more costumes and make-up per square foot than most movies. And, the people involved in making that happen may or may not have ever set foot onto a movie set. Thus, we have provided a full category to these areas of expertise rather than relegating them to a sub-category of movie making.
